Review policy

Who can leave a review

Reviews can only be submitted from a signed-in account on this site. The account must be tied to an order placed through clascoteronex.com. Reviewers enter their own city and state, which is shown with the review.

We do not buy reviews, we do not import reviews from third-party sellers, and we do not run any bot, agency or "review exchange" programme.

Incentive disclosure

Some reviews are incentivised. From time to time we offer a discount code or a replacement bottle to customers who take the time to submit written feedback or before/after photos — most often after a support case.

The incentive is never conditional on the rating or on the review being positive. We do not ask for a specific score, we do not ask for edits, and customers keep the incentive regardless of what they write. This disclosure exists because the FTC requires material connections to be stated plainly.

Photo policy

Before and after photos are submitted by customers from their own devices. We crop and resize images to a common frame and convert them to WebP for page speed. We do not retouch, relight, generate or otherwise alter the hair in a customer photo.

Lighting, camera, haircut length and styling differ between a customer's own two photos. Photos are illustrative of one person's experience, not a controlled clinical measurement. Individual results vary.

Moderation and negative reviews

Submissions are screened for spam, personal data, abusive language and medical claims we are not allowed to make. A review is never removed or hidden because it is critical of the product, the price, the packaging or the delivery.

Critical reviews stay published with our reply underneath, including the shipping and packaging complaints you will find at the top of the written reviews list.

How the rating is calculated

The displayed score of 4.7 out of 5 is the mean of all 697 verified reviews we have received: 544 five-star, 118 four-star, 21 three-star, 7 two-star and 7 one-star ratings, which total 3,276 stars over 697 reviews. All 697 of them are published on the reviews page across paginated pages — none are withheld.

The number is self-reported by the merchant. It is not audited by an independent review platform, and we state that rather than implying third-party certification.

Complaints and corrections

If you believe a published review is inaccurate or not genuine, email support@clascoteronex.com with the reviewer name and date. We investigate every report and publish a correction or remove the review if we cannot confirm the underlying order.
